**Water Network Risk Lead**
**Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum**
**Hours: 37 Hours per week**
**Location: Walsall or Cambridge**

**The Role**:
To Provide inspirational leadership to our cross regional risk management team on the water network incorporating both the strategic and distribution system. You will be required to implement processes to risk assess and mitigate supply interruption risks during all network interventions whilst being empowered to promote, influence, and deliver change to working practices and processes.
- Responsible for the ongoing programme delivery of mains cleaning (PODDS) on the strategic network.
- Deliver maximum reward position for our Supply interruptions ODI.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the skills matrix for technical competence.
- Accountable for managing the strategic authorised operations process to mitigate risk during network interventions.
- Delivery of strategic authorised operations to facilitate all work in the network.
- Deliver works in accordance with the departments opex and capex budgets.
- Responsible for monthly and annual regulatory reporting (Supply interruptions, DG2)
- Identify improvements required to deliver effective and efficient business processes.
- Fully support incident management requirements in line with our procedures.
**What You’ll Need**:
- HNC in Civil or Environmental Engineering; additionally, possessing IOSH Managing Safely accreditation is desirable.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Excellent report writing skills and will be competent across the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
- An understanding of hydraulic principles and experience in water network management is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of engaging with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders.
- Communication and influencing skills.
