Based in the Larkfield Unit, which has acute geriatric assessment, rehabilitation and acute stroke wards. Responsible for the day to day management of patients on the ward. Expected to attend consultant ward rounds and MDT meetings, progress management between ward rounds, review new/sick patients and communicate as needed with members of the MDT, patients and relatives.
Alos expected to provide support to FY1 colleagues. On call commitment includes out-of-hours cover for the Larkfield Unit and participation in the medical on-call rota.
