Here at Longridge Hall, we support our residents to make this truly their home, whether they want a reminiscence lounge, a chapel, or even an indoor sensory garden Our dedicated Care Home Manager, Tracey, has worked here for more than 10 years and is truly emotionally invested in making our home a lovely place to both live and work.
We are currently looking to hire compassionate and dedicated individuals to support the Home Manager in providing exceptional, person-centered care to the residents of the Home, ensuring a warm, happy and homely environment is maintained at all times and supporting each of the residents to remain as active and independent as possible within the constraints of their condition.
As a Senior Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:
undertaking any necessary training
supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
providing emotional support and companionship
supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve: staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc.

What are we looking for?
Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
A positive outlook and warm personality
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
