Classroom Support are excited to be working with a mainstream primary school in the Surbiton area.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Teaching Assistant to support their KS1 & KS2 pupils who have a diverse range of support needs.

The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is for a permanent position paying between £14,500-£15,000 pro-rata per annum.

This appointment will be for 27.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.45-2.45pm (TA) 2 hours per week Monday and Tuesday 7.45-8.45am (BC) both over 39 weeks of the year, to include and In Service (INSET) days that fall on a day that you would usually work.

**Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant role are**:

- **Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification is highly beneficial**:

- **Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally on in small groups.**:

- **Using your experience of effective behaviour management.**:

- **Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.**:

- **Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting.**:

- **Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover.**:

- **Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.**

**Please Note: You Either need a DBS on the Update Service or a DBS ran via ourselves for us to be able to place you at a school.**
