Order Picker/packer

**Ashton Recruitment** is currently recruiting for an experienced **Warehouse Order Picker & Packer** for our busy client based in **Antrim**. Our client are a market leading kitchen door and component supplier trading throughout the UK and Ireland.

**Location**: Toome

**Position**: Order Picker / Packer

**Hours of Work**: 3 x 12.5 hour shifts on a weekly rotational basis
- Week 1 & 2: Monday to Wednesday, 6am to 7pm
- Week 3 & 4: Thursday to Saturday, 6am to 7pm

*No Sundays required and two full weekends off per month.*

**Duration**: Temporary to Permanent

**Rate of Pay**:£11.70

(£10.42 per hour + 13% shift allowance)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to carry out all activities quickly and efficiently
- Work as part of the team to ensure daily production targets are met
- Always measure each product to raise accuracy when picking
- Familiarise yourself with all relevant operational procedure
- Familiarise yourself and comply with company quality standards
- Actively participate in your weekly team briefings
- Ensure that all housekeeping in your area is maintained
- Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies
- Any other duties deemed reasonable

**Essential Criteria**:

- 1-3 years’ previous experience in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business
- Target driven with a strong desire to succeed
- An individual who will represent the best interests of the company at all times in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to prioritise work and use own initiative

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Valid forklift license
