- General Responsibilities
- To comply with company policies including internal and external Health and Safety and Environmental standards as required.
- To work in a safe manner with due regard to one’s own safety and that of others. At all times abide with the companies’ health and safety policies.
- Follow the required gowning procedures for all manufacturing areas.
- To wear and maintain the required safety equipment when necessary, as provided by the company.
- Training Level Specific Responsibilities
- Line Feeder
- Communicate effectively with the Technicians and Team Leaders regarding the production schedule.
- Ensure equipment is stored appropriately, including all necessary ancillary parts, and routing them to production in preparedness for next run, minimising down time. Generate equipment parts inventory lists to ensure kits for different processes are appropriately controlled and maintained.
- In accordance with the production schedule, request from the warehouse, locate and route materials to the production room for in-process jobs. In addition, route raw materials ready for the next run, ensuring changeover time for materials is limited.
- Removing materials from the in-process jobs, and previous runs from the line & transporting to the link corridor for collection by warehouse operatives.
- ‘Topping up’ of consumable materials on line to ensure sufficient stock is available for use during each production run, and for cleaning
- Understand the scheduled start and finish time of jobs and liaise with Line Leaders to ensure materials are supplied in accordance with these agreed dates/times.
- Where equipment or material shortfalls/availability against agreed targets occur, work with the Team Leader to address shortfalls, engage with recovery plan to address
- Ensure we are inspection ready at all times and maintain excellent level of housekeeping.
- Proactively escalate any issue to the Team Leader.
- Be a team player - maintain positive workforce relationships based on honesty, trust and respect
- To carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the department Team Leader(s).
- Completed competencies in line with Pathway.
