Despatch Clerk

Our client a family run business based in Tamworth, requires a Despatch Clerk / Internal Sales Support - Days to work at their State of the art GRP manufacturing facility. Possible permanent opportunities following successful trial period. Duties include working in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicating with customers in order to despatch finished goods to a set address on the correct dates / times using the correct transport suppliers available. Supporting the internal sales teams by answering phones, processing orders for customers & running purchase reports to order stock from internal system.

The package:

- Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
- 42.5 Hours P/W
- 20-minute paid break at 10am
- 30-minute break at 1pm
- £11.00 per hour
- After 42.5 hours completed pay £13.00 per hour

Key Experience
- Ability to work on your own & as a team

Preferred skills and qualifications
- Full UK driving License.
- Experience in a similar role previously
- Initiative to foresee where changes can be made to save the business money & time with despatch methods & suppliers / types of vehicles
- Experience in using CRM
