**OVERVIEW**

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the operator team of our Anaerobic Digestion plant in Cornwall.

This is a **hands-on** and varied role, working within an operational biogas plant undertaking tasks including **machinery operation**, feedstock management, assisting with **maintenance**, **administration** and general upkeep.

**JOB DESCRIPTION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

This **part-time** role is very flexible and can be built to suit the individual, but as part of the operator team the role will include working **weekends **and **bank holidays** on a rota, providing overnight **'on-call'** services on a rota, and at times providing **holiday cover** for the other operators.

Day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

- Monitoring the plant control system and responding accordingly. This will include remote monitoring whilst on-call.
- Operation and maintenance of the site weighbridge,
- Basic feedstock sampling and testing,
- Problem identifying and solving,
- Health & Safety implementation and compliance.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Able to **work independently** when required,
- Basic maintenance/mechanical skills,
- Good communicator,
- **Punctual **record keeping,
- Ability to plan and prioritise complex and varied tasks,
- Flexibility to work on call, on a rota system,
- A good working knowledge of **Health & Safety,**

Experience of working in the AD sector is not necessary as **full training will be given** however, a basic understanding of AD/Biogas/Feedstock would be advantageous.
