**20 HGV Class C+E Drivers required for Immediate Starts Available, long term placements to meet peak and fixed shift patterns.**

CareerLink are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hinckley, Leicestershire for Class 1 Drivers, working with one of the largest parcel supply chain's in the UK with depot hubs nationally located.

We have inductions taking place weekly, for Drivers who can successfully demonstrate experience of operating C+E Class 1 HGV vehicles for a minimum of 6 months and a willingness to be flexible in their approach.

**Various Shift Patterns Available and Ad Hoc Opportunities also**

**Job Overview**:
A standard day would typically consist of taking a pre-loaded trailer from Hinckley Hub to another Hub in the UK, trailers are always parked on bays and unloaded accordingly, the trailer may then be loaded with returns to be sent back to Hinckley. There is very rarely any handball involved as most of the time this is done by onsite staff.

A typical day lasts between 8-12 hours with 1-2 drops or trips per shift.

**Driver profile**:

- A Full UK HGV Licence, Digi-Card & DQC Card
- No more than 6 Penalty Points on the license
- A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD
- A good understanding of English, both written & verbal
- Experience of operations class C+E (1) vehicles on a consistent basis

**What can you expect**:

- Minimum 8 hours per shift paid
- Holiday pay - Accrued and Paid when holidays are taken

- Ability to work to a fixed shift pattern but with the remaining flexibility to support driver work life balance and the operational requirements.

**Payrate**:
**Pre-12 week**:

- Monday to Friday Days £13.97ph or £16.30 Nights
- Saturday Day £21.20ph or £23.54ph Nights
- Sunday Day £21.20ph or £23.54 Nights

**Overtime after 8 hours**:

- Monday to Friday Days £20.70ph or £23.04ph Nights
- Saturday Day £24.32 or £26.66ph Nights
- Sunday Day £24.32ph or £26.66ph Nights

P**ay rates increase further after 12 weeks of work once Parity is obtained
