**Job description**
Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is a one-stop-shop retrofit service helping homeowners in Oxfordshire to make their homes better by improving comfort and reducing carbon emissions. We do this by installing things like insulation, modern heating systems and solar panels. We call it a one-stop-shop because we help homeowners throughout their project ranging from advice on where to start, finding contractors as well as overseeing the installation to ensure quality.
We are looking for our next Retrofit Coordinator to join the team and work closely with homeowners and contractors. The role is focused on supporting homeowners making sure their retrofit project is as smooth as possible all the way through the installation process. You will be working together with a dedicated team based in Charlbury, Oxfordshire.
You will be using industry leading tools to support the analysis of how to reduce carbon, and support homeowners on their journey to a low carbon home from initial advice to a wrapped up project.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate work at live domestic construction sites by liaising with clients and contractors
- Discuss retrofit options with homeowners and identify the best solution within practicality and budget
- Provide contractors with property specific advice enabling them to produce designs and quote for works
- Review quotes from contractors and discuss implications with both clients and contractors
- Provide advice to homeowners by building Whole House Plans showing a path to Net Zero for each home
**Experience**
- Knowledge and experience of sustainable building materials and techniques
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working at a construction site
- Able to provide onsite advice and troubleshoot retrofit issues
- Customer service mindset - empathetic to homeowners and their needs and wishes
- IT literate - able to work with Microsoft software
**Preferred**
- Driving license
- Willing to travel around Oxfordshire
- Ability to work some days from home

Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is a partnership of between RetrofitWorks and the Low Carbon Hub. We use the RetrofitWorks cooperative model for one-stop-shops, which is also being used in London and Greater Manchester under the names Ecofurb and Your Home Better.
