We are a family owned business; providing marquees, inflatable play equipment and other entertainment hire throughout Glasgow and central Scotland.

Responsibilities for this role include the following:
1) Under direction: Plan, manage, load and unload a variety of equipment for various jobs ensuring that vehicles are loaded correctly and ready for site deliveries. You must ensure safe handling is always used and that job sheets are carried out efficiently and accurately.

2) Under clear instruction and direction: Work with the crew on site erecting & dismantling marquees, bouncy castles, furniture and other hire equipment. This will also include carrying equipment to and from vehicles with crew members and driving to and from delivery locations. Equipment includes marquee frames, bouncy castles, tables, chairs, flooring etc.

Please note: a degree of physical fitness is essential to this role and it is beneficial that you enjoy the workout provided by physical labour.

3) Daily housekeeping: Maintenance tasks including cleaning, tidying and organising equipment as it arrives back from hires.

4) Work within and enforce any policy or procedure as issued by Crown Castles & Marquees Health and Safety documentation.

5) Light administration tasks: Filing of H&S paperwork, ensuring customer risk assessments are carried out and daily cash receipts are properly recorded.

You will be paid for every hour you work but will be expected to be punctual, reliable and work demanding hours.

We operate with a low tolerance for staff who do not show up without good reason and place unnecessary strain on the rest of the team.

**Job Type**: 4 month trial on a self employed basis with the view to permanent employment by the company thereafter.
