We are recruiting for a well-established, leading company in Braintree who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them, on an initial contract basis, with the potential for permanent.
They are located on the outskirts of Braintree so driving is essential; they provide parking, hybrid working and flexible working hours (even part-time).
You will be responsible for dealing with the suppliers, supplier queries and the full purchase ledger process.
Key Responsibilities as follows:

- Processing all invoices, coding, posting, and assuring all are approved
- Monthly statement supplier reconciliation
- Effectively liaise with all other departments, suppliers, and customers
- Making sure all suppliers are paid in relation to agreements
- Setting up new suppliers and checking details
- Investigate and resolve all purchase ledger issues/ queries
- Helping with month-end
- Adhoc tasks from the finance team

Key Requirements for the role:

- Must have 1+ years’ experience with processing purchase ledger invoices
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise their workload efficiently and effectively
- Excellent Excel skills is a must
- Must have experience working well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and individually
- Have knowledge of financial systems
