Job Title: Technical Team Administrator

**Are you an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor looking for a new exciting opportunity with a well established firm?**

Role is based in Maidenhead

Purpose of the role:

- To carry out an initial check of the title.
- To assist the case handlers with any technical/legal aspect of the case that their knowledge does not expand to

When necessary to also carry out a final check of the remortgage case to ensure that:
1) all legal processes have been carried out
2) all documents have been completed and signed correctly
3) all financial information has been calculated and prepared correctly

Key Accountabilities
- To carry out an initial check of the title at the start of the case and advise the case handler of any additional work that is required
- Ensuring any issues that arose from the initial office copy check have been dealt with
- Ensuring documentation has been completed correctly in accordance with the Land Registry Rules & Regulations.
- Ensuring documentation has been completed correctly in accordance with the New Lenders’ requirements
- Ensuring that all required documents have been obtained and completed fully and correctly
- Ensuring that internal processes have been followed with regards to any additional checks required
- Ensuring that the financial information prepared for the accounts department has been calculated correctly
- Ensuring that the financial information prepared for the accounts department has been prepared correctly
- Ensuring that any technical/legal queries are responded to in order that the case handler may progress their case in the correct manner
- Drafting of legal documents including Deeds
- Knowledge of Probate, Staircasing and possibly Islamic mortgages
- Ensuring that the lender requirements are followed in terms of processes
- Ensuring that GPL requirements are followed in terms of processes
- Ensure that any “risk” in terms of decision making is mínimal.
- You must be able to prioritise your workload in order to meet tight deadlines.
- You must have strong attention to detail.
- You must have strong conveyancing experience
