**Casual Lodge Receptionist (Porter)**

Brasenose College is looking to recruit a number of Casual Receptionists/Porters who are available to work on an ad hoc basis at any of the College sites. Casual Reception Porters work with the Lodge team along with providing cover for holidays, sickness absence and a significant amount of college events, some of which may be short notice.

The Lodge plays a key part in the College community and is open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. This is a public facing role providing a warm welcome and security services to all who study, work, and visit the College. To be successful in this role you should have excellent communication skills, a polite and courteous manner, and the ability to deal with a range of people. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and have a high degree of common sense.

Previous experience of reception work in a hotel or college environment would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given.

Day Porter shift patterns are as follows: 07:00 - 15:00 or 13:30 - 21:30 with flexibility required according to operational requirements. Shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break.

The hourly pay will be offered at £12.82 (including holiday pay).
