You should have good basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating and gardening and the ability to carry out regular health & safety and maintenance checks.

You should have good communication skills as you will be in regular contact with elderly and vulnerable residents.

You must be enthusiastic and take a pride in your work and be able to work unsupervised and use your own initiative.

You would need to be able to be on call in case of emergencies.

Self-employed would be considered.

Experience: Handyman or similar of 2 years required plus a full clean driving licence.

**Salary**: £12.50 - £15.00

Part-time hours: 30 per week 10am to 4 pm Monday to Friday:
