We have a new opportunity available here at Fleetwood Town Football Club for a Painter and Decorator to join us on a part time basis, working within our group of businesses across the Blackpool area.

**Main Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with company procedure/schedules
- Carry out reactive maintenance work in accordance with company procedure / schedules
- Carry out duties which may relate to lamp renewals, meter readings, drainage system cleaning, maintenance work area cleaning, material handling, heavy lifting, painting, minor plumbing work and litter picking etc
- Provide support to the maintenance team as and when instructed
- Liaise with Maintenance Manager to ensure all necessary materials are received and ready for works to commence on a daily basis
- Proactively seek to resolve matters on a daily basis and report back to management any unresolved issues
- Adhere to all relevant Health and Safety requirements
- Make sure that all PPE is maintained and used when required
- Maintain records of work carried out in accordance with safe working practices each day
- Undertake training as and when required.
- Work in accordance with the requirements of statute, technical guidance and codes of practice and Departmental Policies and Procedures
- Respond to emergency situations as requested by the Maintenance Manager should an incident take place at any premises
- Use and be competent in the use of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
- Deal with new situations as they arise and advise Maintenance Supervisor of action taken

**Qualification / Experience**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Post holder will require GCSE in Math’s and English at grade C or above
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communicator and the ability to build working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
- Able to use own initiative
- Have the ability to work with and support the team and work alone, where required
- Must be able to cope under pressure
- Must be flexible and adaptable to differing work patterns, such as nights / weekends including out of season.
- Post holder should be confident, approachable and reliable, setting high standards and expectations of themselves
- Post holder may be asked to work adverse weather conditions.
- Post must have access to a vehicle to relocate between sites

**You will require a full, valid UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.**
