Our client is one of the largest and fastest-growing motor retailers. They represent major global franchises from various locations in Northern Ireland.

They are now actively looking to recruit an HR Advisor for their head office in Portadown.

**THE ROLE**

As HR Advisor, you will form part of the HR team and be the point of contact for all HR-related queries along with assisting in the everyday duties involved in HR. You will report directly to the HR Manager, your duties will involve a combination of HR generalist and administration duties such as; recruitment, new employee onboarding, providing staff with advice on HR policies & procedures, absence management, holiday request management, performance management, employee communication, updating/maintaining HR information systems, payroll preparation and processing, completing statutory reports and organising staff travel arrangements. This is a varied role that will involve providing support to the HR Manager and Directors on a range of tasks/projects.

**THE PERSON**:
In order to be considered for the role you must meet the following criteria:

- 2 years of HR Generalist experience - knowledge & working experience in the above HR areas.
- Knowledge of Northern Ireland employment legislation.
- Excellent IT Skills / fully competent using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word / Excel.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills both verbal and written.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Good analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
- Results-focused, with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Full driving licence.
