Autotech Recruit are partnering with the RAC to find a Roadside Mechanic for the Reading area

Their unprecedented growth means we are now recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join the RAC Roadside Patrol team.

As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:
A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
Demonstrative technical, electrical and diagnostic experience
A customer focused approach
A full UK driving licence
In the role of Roadside Mechanic, you will come across a diverse range of breakdowns and technical issues so technical experience is essential. You will need to demonstrate core mechanical, electrical and diagnostic experience.

You will benefit from a comprehensive induction and you will also have access to the latest vehicle technology, along with support from the RAC technical team. You could also develop your career further within the RAC.

Roadside is at the very heart of the RAC's business, as their Roadside Mechanics deliver an exceptional and much needed service to RAC members. Unlike working In a garage or dealership. You'll be out and about dealing face-to-face with our customers, handling breakdowns, offering technical support and delivering the same exceptional service that they've come to expect from RAC.
