Are you passionate about the world of procurement and eager to kick-start your career? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading Wholesale business in Barnsley, who are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join their busy Procurement team.

As Merchandising Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with senior buyers and procurement team to understand purchasing needs and requirements
- Identify suitable suppliers and place purchase orders in line with KPIs
- Work closely with the design team to create packaging designs
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments

Key skills of the Merchandising Assistant:

- Excel knowledge including Vlookups
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
- Highly organised, with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
