**Role Description**:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1-1 basis with a Key Stage 1 pupil who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and anxiety-based needs. Your role will be integral to creating a supportive and encouraging environment, ensuring the child's well-being and facilitating their academic progress.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide dedicated 1-1 support to the KS1 pupil with ASD and anxiety-based needs.
- Collaborate with the SLT and support staff to implement tailored strategies for the pupil's development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school community.
**Working Hours**:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 am
- This part-time role has the potential to evolve into a long-term position and even a permanent role within the school.
- Previous experience working with primary-age children with SEN is essential.
- Passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Empathy and resilience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The daily pay rate for this role is £55.
