Altum are excited to partner with an extremely well-known entertainment business to find them a Treasury Accountant. The aim of this role is to take ownership of the Treasury function and manage the cash flow.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee the bank accounts, reconciliations and more. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and become a key part of their continued strategic growth.

This is an urgent hire and requires someone on maximum 1 month notice period.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing the daily cash balances across all bank accounts.
- Reconcile all cash balances with the physical cash received.
- Reconcile all bank accounts and credit cards ensuring that all un-reconciled items are explained.
- Become the key contact for the auditors and ensure everything is prepared in a timely manner.
- Responsible for cash float counts and petty cash reviews and reconcile any differences.
- Create new bank accounts and ensure new acquisitions run smoothly.
- Reconcile bank charges relating to the operating sites and head office and posting monthly accruals.
- Report on the cash overs and shorts and sending these monthly to sites and management.
- Set up and transmit authorized electronic payments when required.
- Prepare daily cash flow reports, reconcile to the bank, and assist with the short term cashflow.
- Oversee the change collection reconciliation monthly, ensure any discrepancies are investigated.
- Review procedures, suggest process improvements that could lead to a more efficient treasury department.
- Manage improvement projects to improve the department.

**Key Skills**
- Qualified or working towards Accounting/ Treasury qualification.
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience in a multi-site company
- Experience of delivering complex projects on time

- Strong IT skills, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
