Chargehand Porter

We are looking for someone to work with the Portering Manager to set and maintain standards for the Portering service. Helping to promote and improve the service to and assisting with implementing any internal agreements and or service improvements.

You should be aware of the procedure to be followed in cases of;
- Fire
- Cardiac arrest
- Trauma calls
- Medical Emergency
- Any other emergency

DBS: Required, we can help provide a DBS if you dont have one.

Good basic education. To able to demonstrate a sound level of education and to resolve some non routine queries.

Understanding of Portering services within the NHS Awareness of NHS policies both internal and across the trust generally Good working knowledge of other departments and directorates and deliver a service catering to their needs.

Good interpersonal skills IT Literate Adaptable Numerate and literate Ability to supervise a team. To analyse, produce and record accurate data. Assist in staff training. Carry out appraisals. To be physically capable to carry out all required duties.

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
