We are seeking to appoint a lecturer/lecturers for sessional evening work delivering on our expanding Higher Education provision in Childhood Studies / Childrens’ development and Education. The primary focus of the position would be to teach on our Higher Education route of Childhood Studies (levels 4, 5 & in time Level 6).

Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals who have recent experience working in the Childhood sector, or any other closely related discipline, where you have a sound understanding of current legislation, policy and contemporary issues in the Children's Development and Education sector.

We are particularly interested in individuals who could deliver on topics such as: Children’s Development, Positive Behaviour Approaches, Continuous Professional Development, Professionalism, Professional Identity and Multi-Professional Working, Contemporary Education Perspectives, A Green/Sustainable Childhood, Supporting Children with Additional Learning Needs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £20.58-£31.82 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week
