he Best Connection Walsall are currently recruiting for a longstanding company in the Walsall area who are looking for Experienced “Grey Iron” Furnace Operative to work in a foundry.

**Pay and Hours**:

- Mon-Thurs 6.000AM - 4.00PM
- £12.05 / Hr

**Duties will include**:

- Working in a hot metal environment, transferring molten metal from the furnace to the moulds.
- Performing in house tests/analysis to ensure product is produced in line with specifications.
- Quality checks
- General production work (stacking, baling, sorting metals, loading/unloading lorries, etc.,)
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment.

**What you’ll need to be considered for this role**:

- Previous foundry experience
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- worked in foundries and understands coke fired cupola’s
