Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Newport
Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm with some flexibility, and possible hybrid working on Mondays and Fridays

**Salary**: up to £30k per annum
Contract type: full-time, permanent
A great opportunity has risen with Acorn's client in Newport to become an IT Support Technician. As a Support Technician, you will be the first line of support for this company's clients.
Utilising the ticketing system and various technologies, you'll assist with addressing issues, escalating any that require further investigation, with software installation and deployment. This role will include support for desktop, laptop build, configurationand deployment, and smartphones.
Essential technologies:

- Windows Operating Systems (10)
- Microsoft Office 365
- MacOS
- Understanding of Network principles
- Active Directory
- Multi-function printing and scanning
- Two Factor Authentication
Essential skills:

- Excellent customer services and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner and customer engagement skills
- Practical problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong prioritisation and troubleshooting skills
