Job Title: Service Manager - Mottingham SE9 4TX

Accountable to: Head of care

Accountable for: Care standards and all Staff at the Service/s

Job Purpose:
To manage the staff and resources of the service/s, to provide a positive living experience for the resident young people.

To ensure that we consistently provide a high quality of service to its users and remains economically viable.

To liaise with the head of care and carry out delegated tasks, as required.

To provide supervision to staff as designated by the head of care.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
To oversee on a day-to-day basis, the care, safety and development of all residents, alongside the management, development and co-ordination of the service/s and outreach work.

Ensuring that outcomes are achieved and evidenced via weekly/monthly report which is to be sent to Local Authorities in a timely manner.

To be responsible for the personal development and training of the staff within the service/s.

To assist the Directors in the development and promotion of its services.

To liaise and co-operate directly with placing social workers.

To actively promote equal opportunities for all.
