Job Specification for a Chemical Compounder & Warehouse Operative

Fork Truck License would be advantageous, but training could be given

Location -East Peckham, Kent TN12

To join a small team manufacturing flavours and fragrances to customers requirements.

Reporting to Production Manager & Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- To assist with product production to meet sales order requirements.
- To assist Production Manager and other compounders.
- To keep accurate stock records of raw materials and finished products.
- To ensure operating procedures are accurately employed.
- To consider HACCP and ensure compliance with HACCP requirements.
- To operate QA sampling and positive release processes.
- To maintain hygienic facilities within the company QA procedures.
- To process sales order and stock control on the company software.

To assist with product despatches and raw material receipts.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work methodically and keep scrupulous records.
- Ability to work with a team and all its members.
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping, hygiene and safe working practices.

Computer systems used - Microsoft Package, (Outlook, Excel, Word), SAGE 50, Data Essence (bespoke system)

Pay: From £18,000.00 per year
