Tailor/seamstress

Experienced Tailor/Seamstress required to work in busy clothing alteration shop in Haslemere, Surrey. Must be able to work across a variety of clothing including Wedding Dresses, Prom Dresses and Tailoring including jackets and trousers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications
- Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools to complete sewing tasks
- Measure and mark fabric for cutting and sewing
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all sewing work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a seamstress or similar role
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and other sewing tools
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Sewing: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Haslemere (required)
