THE ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work as a Dispatch Supervisor. You will be responsible for booking wagon slots and managing the yard in order to facilitate the dispatch of finished goods in line with customer expectations.

Your key duties will include:

- Liaising with drivers to book good in/out timeslots
- Overseeing the arrival and exit of vehicles and drivers in line with the company health and safety policy
- Producing delivery notes on Opera (training will be provided on the system)
- Load allocation
- General ad hoc duties
- Have worked in a Transport / Dispatch / Distribution Administration role
- Have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering business in an office-based role
- Be confident using MS Office, including Excel and Word
