Dog Walker/pet Carer

For Our Love of Pets is a small, but very professional business established over six years ago and has gone from strength to strength. We cover Pershore, Worcestershire and the surrounding villages. We have a growing team and a lovely selection of dogs and cats in our care, along with some smaller pets.

Our new team member will be friendly yet professional, flexible, reliable, committed, fairly fit and be a team player but with the ability to work alone.

You **must** live within a five mile radius of Pershore.

**Responsibilities and Requirements**
- You will have responsibility for up to three dogs on walks and the walks will vary from 30 minutes up to one hour
- Ensuring the welfare of all dogs and pets in your care, reporting any issues you observe
- Have a genuine love of dogs and the experience of working with them in either a professional, voluntary or personal capacity
- You must be very well organised
- Be prepared to walk rain or shine, unless the weather conditions deem it unsafe for you and/or the dogs
- Send WhatsApp messages to all owners at the end of the day with news on how the visits or walks have been
- Flexibility to work earlier or later during busy periods or when the weather dictates that the times of walks should be adjusted

**You Must Have**
- An absolute love and passion for all animals but particularly dogs as they are the majority of our client list and our core business
- The ability to control dogs in your care
- A car/vehicle suitable for the transportation of dogs which will require a dog guard or dog crates
- A clean driver's license with three years driving history
- A clear DBS Certificate or be able to obtain one
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A Smart phone with skills to enable you to communicate with clients and the wider team and take photographs
- IT skills to enable you to complete online courses
- The ability to use Microsoft Outlook which is the platform used for work schedules

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 18 per week
