**The Role**

The role is on a **full-time basis** and will join the team in producing paper products, which are to specified quality and consistency standards.

You will be trained onsite in the operation of a Malimo Stitch-bonding machine or a Micrex machine within our Paper department. We provide full training in safe and efficient operation of the machinery, and are ideally seeking individuals who are ready to learn, supported by the mentoring of their colleagues. You will have the ability to take in new information and build a sound understanding of processes.

Following your training you will be required to:
- Be responsible for safely operating the Stitch-bonding machinery, maintaining production rate and meeting quality standards.
- Follow all instructions and specifications correctly to meet order requirements.
- Work effectively as part of the production team be able to respond to changing requirements and promote a ‘right first time, no fault’ forward approach to quality.
- Understand safe working requirements and always operate within the Company’s health and safety framework.
- Keep the equipment and work areas, within your area of responsibility, both clean and serviceable at all times.
- Carry out any other duties as required to suit the needs of the business.
- Work additional overtime as and when required.
- Provide operational cover for absence/holidays across all shift patterns.
- Once fully competent, assist in providing training and support for new team members.

You should be conscientious, strive to exceed expectations and ensure we deliver quality technical têxtiles to our customers.

Your ability to complete the above will be complemented by:
- A quality focused approach and attitude.
- Excellent dexterity is vital to the role.
- Ability to work upon your own initiative and effectively as part of a team, with clear communication to both managers and colleagues.
- Given the industrial work environment and complexity of machinery some work experience of operating machinery is preferable, although full training will be provided.
- We are looking for an individual who can provide a positive contribution with the ability to work independently, whilst also maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.

Our operations are 24 hours 5 days a week (Mon to Fri) the role will operate on the following shift basis:
- **Nightshift **from 10pm to 6am from Sunday night to Friday morning.
