General Scope of Role
- To operate a linen and other stock support service to both the housekeeping department. To operate an inventory system to hold appropriate levels of stock, maintained to the correct standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To make up and deliver requisitioned stock/ packs to the correct location in a timely, safe manner.
- To receive deliveries and store in a safe, efficient manner.
- To order stock in line with par levels.
- To maintain a clean, tidy and organised distribution hub.
- To maintain all health and safety standards.
- To collect dirty linen packs.
- Help housekeeping team when needed.
- Operating a stock itinerary system.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

People
- Maintain good working relationships with the team across the hotel(s)
- Be responsible for your own personal development at work and strive to be the best in what you do, taking care and pride in your work. Complete all mandatory training on time.
- Attend regular briefing sessions and hotel meetings when required.
- Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance and to assist in the event of absence cover.
- Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken.
- Demonstrate the ambition to meet personal and department goals.

Service
- Ensure our guests (internal and external) receive a friendly and efficient service.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service to exceed their expectations.
- Interact with guests and take appropriate action with regards to their feedback
- Comply with brand, hotel and department operating standards.
- Work safely at all times, reporting any damage, wear or tear and understand departmental risk assessments.
- Assist with keeping the hotel and surrounding area clean, tidy and presentable.

Financial
- Be fully aware of all the hotel facilities and promote them whenever possible.
- Remain sales focused at all times.
- Ensure that work is carried out in a way that is cost efficient and understand the ways in which profit can be maximized.

General
- Perform other tasks as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.
- Work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries.
- Understand your role and responsibilities and comply with the hotel Health & Safety Policy, emergencies, evacuation and security procedures.
- Behave in line with the Company environmental and energy saving initiatives.
- Act on any reasonable request made by the management team.

As an employee, you are also expected to adhere to all policies and procedures. This Job Description is not exhaustive; therefore, you may be required, from time to time, to carry out other tasks as & when requested by Management.

You will also be required to undertake all statutory training and any other learning and development recommended by management, according to the needs of yourself and the hotel.
