IT Analyst

We are looking for x3 experienced IT Operations Analysts to join a really fast paced team within a successful financial organisation.

The IT Analyst will be responsible for service monitoring, service assurance and event management. You will also support some basic user support outside of core hours.

In this role you will be working with ORACLE hardware and software, so hands on experience with ORACLE is essential. You must also have strong Unix experience and ideally Kornshell programming experience.

You will need to have worked with alerting - ideally solarwinds - but if it is an alternative tool this is fine too. You must also have experience with automated job scheduling as well as backup and tape management.

This role is initially for a 12 month fixed term contract but there is a strong potential of it being turned permanent.

The shifts are 7am - 7pm or 7pm-7am Monday - Sunday. Working 4 on and 4 off.

Salary is flexible depending on experience but will be around £40,000 plus 27.5% shift allowance (which at £40,000 is an additional £11,000 per annum)
