Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location - Skelmersdale
Salary - £44K - £46K basic + Bonus, Overtime
Permanent Position
Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with a highly successful Manufacturer based in Skelmersdale, who are actively looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.
The Role
- Respond to breakdowns of production machinery swiftly, prioritizing production in accordance with daily plan
- Carry out faut finding, repair and maintenance of all production machinery
- Understanding and utilization of schematic drawings, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic
- Carry out PPM/RM on all production equipment
- Adherence to health & Safety, hygiene and current clean room standards
- Maintenance and repair of motors, 3 phase and single phase
- PLC control and fault finding

What we are looking for
- A proactive attitude to troubleshooting issues with equipment and finding working solutions
- At least 3 years' experience of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Experience in a similar FMCG industry/environment
- Excellent communications skills
- Engineering qualification in either electrical / mechanical
