**About the Role**

The post-holder will be a member of the Children’s strategy and leadership team and contribute to the strategic direction of the service. The role involves single and multi-day advocacy as well as mentoring and coaching of staff. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives on court work but also wants to be involved in leadership.

We are seeking a qualified solicitor or barrister with a good understanding of public law relating to children and families and significant experience in the field. You will have a strong commitment to client care and be a reliable colleague who will fit into our friendly and supportive team.

We have pioneered a system of agile working which provides our lawyers with the opportunity to work within the office environment and remotely. The position is full time at 37 hours per week but we are also open to part-time working, 9 day fortnights and other condensed working models.
