Job Introduction
Colas’ Plant & Transport in Grantham are looking for a stores person to manage, control, issue and account for all stock within the store and yards areas. Working as part of a team, delivering customer service and adhering to health and safety rules and standards.

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a positive, pro-active team player that has previous experience within a stores environment and some technical knowledge.

Your main responsibilities will include all aspects of store keeping, stock control and dealing with daily issues and returns, ensure that all operations carried out within your area of responsibility are undertaken with full regard for safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself, all tasks to be undertaken with regard to Health & Safety. Quality and Environmental Policies, pick orders ready for collection, input stores data as required on to Colas systems, complete an annual stock take with two weekly spot checks, maintain a clean and tidy store, raise orders to maintain stock level and manage fuel stock in Grantham.
