Drainage Groundworker

As we continue to grow, we are looking for Groundworker 360 Civils Operatives / Gangs to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is actively seeking progression, if you are looking for a long-term career then this could be a great place to start.

**Salary**

Expect a basic salary of £31,200 (dependent on experienced and qualifications) with excellent earning potential. This basic hourly rate equates to £15.00 hour with overtime paid at time and a half and/or double time accordingly.

You will be operating various equipment and vehicles for a wide range of drain-related issues from emergency call-outs and blockages, to repairs/reinstating, HPWJ and all other general drainage works.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- CSCS, CPCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding, are desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
- Operating excavators up to ten tonnes on various sites carrying out drainage, trench work and digging around live services
- Experience with quick hitch is essential
- Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
- You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business
- Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate
- Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures

**Essential Requirements**
- Full UK driving license with towing capabilities (preferably no more than 3 points)
- Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime
- Be willing to work nights, weekends and early starts as we operative 24/7
