Full-Time / 37 hours / Fixed Term for 12 months

Join our dynamic and vibrant Adult Social Care & Public Health Service within the Procurement Team to help deliver a wide range of services for those accessing support. This is a full-time, fixed term position for one year working 37 hours a week. You’ll have flexibility in hybrid working from home predominantly. Currently there are no immediate plans to return to the office, however, should this occur then the team is anticipated to be based at City Hall, Charles Street, Leicester or at one of the other council office buildings in the city.

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll support the delivery of procurement projects for Adult Social Care and Public Health services. This will include liaising with Commissioners to consider procurement strategies/approaches. In addition, you’ll help plan and carry out the procurement process, by preparing documentation including analysis and design of complex evaluation schemes. You’ll advertise contracts using our electronic tendering system and assist with market engagement and stimulation. Other activities that you’ll be held responsible for on a day-to-day basis include but are not limited to: drafting correspondence, debriefing bidders and assisting with compiling contract documentation and evaluation reports. Working closely with the Procurement Team and others in the Adult Social Care and Public Health service areas, you’ll support on the procurement of key services amongst other tasks. You’ll participate in meetings involving commissioners; people accessing services; and other professionals who may all be involved in commissioning and procuring services.
