**Jointing Project Supervisor**

**Liverpool**

Due to numerous exciting contract wins our client are expanding in all areas of the business.

We are looking for an experienced Jointing Project Supervisor. You will be hands on, self motivated and demonstrate the ability to lead from the front.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the effective planning and prioritisation of daily activities associated with Jointing Department.
- Provide feedback to company management on issues and any observed behaviours detrimental to the business
- Ensure works are complete and meets the required quality standards including Client Specification and HAUC
- Complete work to agreed time scales and identify any deviations from estimate so approvals can be granted
- Make sure all staff and contractors comply with company Health & Safety standards including site risk assessments and use all appropriate PPE and control risk with compliance with all induction and site safety rules including HSG47
- Drive compliance with NRSWA legislation and all codes of practise pertinent to the works activities
- Carry out Health & Safety audits on live sites, providing support and advise to operatives if on site. Liaise with office to ensure action register is updated and completed.
- Ensuring that the appropriate level of risk assessment has been carried out for the task.

**COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS**

At least 1 year experience of assisting in electrical construction activities including:

- Excavation, backfilling and reinstatement including safe working in the vicinity of buried plant
- Signing, guarding, traffic management and NRSWA requirements
- Installing LV service cables
- Previous Jointing Experience
- WL1/WL2
- Experience in similar Supervisory/Foreman role of Civil Enginerring and cable works in the utilities sector.
- Must have the ability to identify risks and introduced sufficient controls to manage risk
- Full Clean driving licence
- Valid NRSWA certified
- Valid CSCS Card
- Good general IT skills
