We are looking for someone with an interest in Pharmacy who has an eye for detail, is hardworking, ambitious, is able to problem solve and has excellent communication skills. You will have an NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be willing to work towards.

If this is you, come and join our fabulous dispensary team of ATOs and Pharmacy Technicians.

We are a small team who work over 3 dispensaries within the Hospital. You will be given full training in each of the 3 dispensaries and complete work based competencies under the guidance of a qualified member of staff.

To oversee the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines for hospital outpatient and inpatients
To undertake the sale of over the counter medicines
To undertake a range of reception duties for the pharmacy dispensaries

1. To undertake any training (managerial and professional) identified by staff appraisal.
2. To participate in weekend, on-call and Bank Holiday working in accordance with agreed rotas.
3. To maintain confidentiality at all times relating to the patients, staff and the Trust.
4. To actively participate in the Staff Appraisal Process.
5. To be familiar and comply with relevant Operational, Personnel, Health and Safety policies and
procedures, including Fire, COSHH, No Smoking and Alcohol.
6. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to local infection control policies
