General Labourer

Construction Trade Solutions is looking for a hardworking, motivated General Labourer for an ongoing project in Knowsley. If hired, you’ll be an integral part helping support construction workers on a rip out project.

Role: General Labourer

Location: Knowsley

Length of contract: 4 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Hours of work: 7.30am - 4.30pm

Pay rate: £12.45 per hour

**Duties and responsibilities of the role**

The duties and responsibilities of a labourer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site whilst also supporting the overall project.

A list of duties and responsibilities for this role on any given day may include the following:

- Preparing set up and clean up tasks at the job site
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Directing traffic near building sites
- Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures
- Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes
- Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment
- Following instructions from supervisors

**Skills and attributes (desirable)**

We are looking for someone who is an excellent team worker, familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures. With the ability to follow written and spoken instruction and capable of working with mínimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely

**About you**

You must have a valid CSCS card, and have an asbestos awareness certificate if you do not have one of these - we can help you get it.

Additional tickets/qualifications that would be beneficial include; IPAF, MEWP, PASMA, First Aid, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels or any other industry related courses.
