What you'll do:

- As part of the BGUK Financial Crime team, take an active role in the implementation, maintenance and review of the financial crime risk control framework.
- Support the BGUK Market Unit in building, maintaining, and updating relevant compliance controls.
- Take an active role in increasing financial crime awareness across the enterprise.
- To provide strategic advice and support of financial crime related matters and supporting the businesses within the BGUK Market Unit on resolving financial crime related concerns.
- To develop and recommend changes to standard financial crime related guidance.
- To monitor new developments in financial crime related regulation, trends, and enforcement and to update the Bupa businesses, and advise on policy changes and potential business impact.
- Working closely with the operational and commercial teams to deliver effective support and advice as a key team member in projects to further the strategic goals of Bupa.
- Developing, aligning with the business, and implementing financial crime strategy, policies and processes in order to mitigate risk for Bupa.
- Providing an escalation point for complex technical queries and ensuring their effective and commercially sound resolution.
- Ensuring that Bupa's name and reputation are protected.
- Being a member of the Finance community and having an active and valuable voice in that forum, to further the strategic goals of the BGUK Finance function within Bupa.
