**Tong Leadership Academy** **is a state-of-the-art secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

**Who we’re looking for**

We’re looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.

**You will have**:

- A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths
- Recent experience of working in a school or other organisation with children of relevant age to promote learning.
- Experience of working with students of relevant age, assisting in their development
- An understanding of the issues relating to students who have additional learning needs, are more able or who have special educational needs
- Understanding of principles of child development and learning processes as appropriate
