Apprenticeship Manager

**About the job**
The postholder will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Brigade’s existing apprenticeship programme/s, including: stakeholder relationships with Brigade departments, the training provider, and others; quality assurance to ensure high standardsof delivery; managing funding and external reporting. Also to advise and support wider departments to set up new apprenticeship as appropriate.
**Principal accountabilities**
- Day-to-day management of the Brigade’s apprenticeship programme/s
- Manage and update the terms of the firefighter training contracts as required.
- Monitor and evaluate apprenticeship activities using systems and processes.
- Carry out quality assurance of the programme as required in reference to training and end point assessments.
- Continuously review and update the apprenticeship programme delivery to ensure high standards of delivery; maintaining compliance with government legislation
**Person specification**
- Experience managing and monitoring finances and budgets.
- Experience of apprenticeship programmes from an employer perspective; including management and funding.
- Good experience using standard MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience coordinating employee development programmes.
