E A Formby (NW) Ltd are looking for an Arborist Team Leader who can lead a team of arborists in carrying out high quality tree work in an efficient and productive manner and to the required standard, at various locations throughout the country.

As an Arborist Team Leader you will be responsible for the company in building good working relationships with colleagues and clients.

You will be required to work additional hours as necessary, dependent upon the needs of the service; also working weekends and alternate shifts including the night shift.

To succeed as Arborist Team Leader, you will need to be customer focused. Have a love for working outdoors and working at heights and be able to use appropriate equipment and undertake various manual handling duties.

As part of the operational services team, you will be able to communicate with members of the public in a polite professional and friendly manner and be able to adapt when required.

The hours are 45 hours per week worked (usually but not always) between 07:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.

Full PPE clothing and equipment will be provided.

All relevant training will be provided in accordance to health and safety regulations and safe system of work for each issued task.

Applicants would ideally have achieved the following:

- Driving licence
- Trailer licence B + E (Desirable)
- Emergency First Aid + F (Desirable)
- MEWP (Desirable)
- Chipper operation
- Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting (CS30.1 & CS30.2)
- Level 2 Award in Felling & Processing Trees Up to 380mm (CS31)
- Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm (CS32) (Desirable)
- Level 2 Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope & Harness (CS38.1)
- Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rescue Operations (CS38.2)
- Level 2 Award in Aerial Rescue & Access a Tree With a Rope & Harness (CS38)
- Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees Using Free Fall Techniques (CS39)
- Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning (CS40) (Desirable)
- Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41) (Desirable)

We would like applicants to have at least three years experience as a climber and also experience leading a team. This would include organising teams and shift allocation.

As an Arborist team leader you will have the opportunity to earn between £30,000 - £35,000 (not including overtime at an increased rate).

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
