**Core Responsibilities**:

- Managing the production and issuing of access cards to Vanguard crew and contractors within Europe, which will require collaboration with European office managers, HR, and the Global Security team in the US.
- Supervising crew access during international travel, including updating of access cards. This requires collaboration with the office managers in Europe and the Global Security team in the US.
- The process of onboarding and offboarding new crew members and departing crew members (both permanent and temporary) entails collaborating closely with the HR department to ensure the security system and access cards are current.
- Assists on the termination and suspension process for crew, contractors, and consultants as directed by management. Makes suggestions to the security game plan.
- The completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports involves ensuring that the security systems are fully up to date, deactivating of all temporary passes, and providing metrics to the management team for monthly reporting.
- Overseeing the physical security request site for Europe, which serves as a crucial platform for managing restricted access throughout the region.
- Work in close partnership with the European office managers to address their office access needs, local crew access (general and restricted), and ensure that all access cards are current and up to date.
- Aids in managing the department’s security incident process, to include review, investigation, recommendation, and resolution of security matters.
- Support of up-keeping Vanguard’s security access control systems across Europe, which entails various tasks such as, attending to daily repairs, scheduling planned preventive maintenance checks on the system, and supporting on the vendor management.
- Share knowledge and trains others in security administration policies, standards, and architecture development. Conduct security awareness training.
- Supports the development, planning, and execution of the security response to Vanguard events including conducting an advance security review of the event. Servers as a liaison with site security management.
- Supporting the team with daily operational tasks such as threat intelligence, build project development, crew travel (including high-risk travel), security assessment & operational plans, which will provide you with the opportunity to gain expertise in various aspects of Corporate Security.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- This role will require some travel within Europe for operational requirements.

- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Someone who is a hard-working individual, with the correct skillset and the ability to work within a fast-growing organization.
- This role involves multiple daily challenges to which you must be able quickly adapt.
- Key strengths: being able to multitask, manage, and prioritize their workload; high-level of communication skills, high-level of computer skills, and a strong background in access controls and access card management.

Vanguard has implemented a hybrid working model for most of our crew members, designed to capture the benefits of enhanced flexibility while enabling in-person learning, collaboration, and connection.
