HR Administrator

We are currently recruiting a HR Administrator on behalf of our public sector client. You will be responsible for the provision of a people-centred service to internal and external customers, including professional advice and guidance on a variety of HRand organisational matters, and provide administrative support to the team.
Hours of work - Full-time (36.2 hours per week) working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
Main duties:
- Assist with the provision of professional advice and guidance to customers on the interpretation of policies and procedures, terms and conditions and good practice guidance
- Assist with updating existing policies and procedures taking into account legislative requirements, regulations and good practice
- Ensure the timely completion of all documentation/ e-forms in respect of associated policies and procedures in a timely manner
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation, providing briefing notes and researching developments and options
- Develop and maintain a variety of data and information using electronic systems including undertaking data analysis and manipulation
- Develop and maintain effective working relations with Trade Unions, Stakeholders, and customers
Personal spec:
- Experience of providing first line advice and guidance
- Experience of analysing and manipulating data
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to effectively prioritise and manage your workload
- Able to communicate effectively in a variety of ways with a wide range of people at all levels
