**Main responsibilities**:
- Ensure that all of the business’ clients have their claims dealt with effectively and to develop processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist with claims for all types of insurance including commercial, fleet and personal lines.
- Monitor the progress of a claim and identify the reasons why full payment may not be made.
- Ensure a fair settlement of a valid claim.
- Effectively provide clients with advice on making a claim and the processes involved in this.
- Expertly be able to guide policyholders on how to proceed with the claim and explain to policyholders if and when their claim is not covered.
- Process new insurance claims notifications efficiently.
- Analyse a claim made by a policymaker to establish whether it adheres to the policy wording.
- Seek advice from external specialists, such as loss adjusters and forensic accountants, on complex cases.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- Previous experience within a similar position/ within the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- IT literate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with a tenacious work ethic.
