DegreeSix Recruitment is a specialist agency working with Residential Children's Services (Aged 8-18) with supporting those that have suffered childhood trauma, emotional behavioural difficulties, challenging behaviours, mental health and autism.

**Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker -**
- Maintaining a safe, clean and positive living environment for the children
- Following correct safeguarding practices
- Participating in a variety of fun activities in and outside of the home
- Providing personal, domestic and emotional support

**Ideally you'll have the following**:

- Minimum of 3 months UK based Social Care experience (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Online update service (Preferred - small charge if you require a new certificate)
- Full Driving Licence (Preferred but not essential)

Most importantly you must be **caring**, **hard working**, **honest** and **passionate** about providing the best level of care and encouraging mental and physical development of young people.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

- Social Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
