Pro rata of £28,079 - £30,691 (i.e. £24,947.11 - £27,267.77) per annum

We are seeking a qualified Librarian to take day to day responsibility for the Learning Resources Centre at the Haywards Heath campus. You will liaise directly with curriculum staff to provide relevant resources, collection development and research skills training. In liaison with teaching staff you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the Learning Resources Centre support student learning. You will co-ordinate the activity of Learning Resources in line with agreed Quality Performance Plans.

You should have a CILIP accredited qualification in librarianship or information studies. As a qualified Librarian with proven IT skills, you should have worked in a professional role in a library, preferably in the further education sector. A qualification in teaching and knowledge of the use of online learning resources in a further education context is desirable.

You will enjoy working in a busy Learning Resources Centre, with fresh challenges on a daily basis and be committed to providing a high standard of service to internal and external customers. Effective communication skills, the ability to prioritise and a flexible and resourceful approach are essential.
